Tackling the War on Waste with Lydia Beshara in a basic stitch basketry workshop using both found, used and new materials
Come to this beginners’ basketry workshop, which will teach you how to make something different using recycled, re-purposed, or new materials. Once you’ve started, basket-making will hook you in. Soon you will be collecting materials and making presents for everyone. It's a delightfully relaxing, rewarding avenue for self-expression.
Grab your old shirts, sheets, wool, ribbon or whatever else you have lying around and join us for a beginners’ basketry workshop at Plant Craft Cottage nestled in the RBGV Melbourne Gardens.
